About Us

Hello!  My name is Jill, and this is my family – my husband Jason, and daughters Breanna Liberty and Mia Brooklynn.

My family is my life.  I adore spending time with all of them as we have very traditional values about raising our kids.  We love being active and doing a variety of outdoor activities.  We also love snow!!!

In the past I wasn’t feeling very well and couldn’t determine the cause.  After at least six years of various health problems I decided it was time to change my life.  I had a friend who had similar issues and we went paleo with our families together after we found out that our kids and ourselves had various food intolerances.

As a new mother to two young girls my instinct to nurture and help heal them has definitely taken precedence.  I hope that by eating right and having fun we will all be better than ever.

The one thing I am thankful for is that I have rediscovered my love of cooking.  I also have a love of knowledge and have started reading many different books related to nutrition and health.  I hope to go back to school to get a second masters degree in either Psychology or Nutrition/Exercise Science, although I have done so much research already that I already feel I have the degree.

Don’t you just love my home page with a picture of the lovely Hawaiian sunset from our last vacation!?  Looking forward to many more adventures in good health! 🙂
